Aston Villas’ new Home shirt for the 2008/09 season will be in the traditional Claret/University Blue. The new Home Shirt for the 2008/09 season comes on the back of a fantastic 2007/08 season for Villa, topped by getting back into Europe again for the first time since the 2001/02 season. Therefore this new football shirt will be a must buy for Villa fans everywhere!
Aston Villa are also making history with the groundbreaking shirt partnership with charity ‘Acorns’, the Children’s Hospice, boldly displayed across the front, Villa fans will undoubtedly be proud to wear the shirt throughout the 2008/09 season
The shirt is made of 100% Polyester and is manufactured in the Official Nike Fit-Dry design style. It also comes with Embroidered Nike logos, but more importantly to any fan, the embroidered Aston Villa club crest. As already mentioned, the Villa shirt for 08/09 will not display the customary Kit Sponsors name but that of the charity Acorns which will be printed on the front of the shirt.
